# Getting Started

The first time you open **AI Visibility**, you'll see a **Get started** screen. Click **Get started** to launch a short five-step setup — **Brand → Market → Products → Topics → Prompts** — that tells Alhena what to track.

## Step 1: Brand

On **Tell us about your brand**, enter:

* **Brand name** — how your brand is referred to (e.g. `Tatcha`).
* **Domain** — your website domain (e.g. `tatcha.com`).

Click **Continue**.

## Step 2: Market

On **Language & region**, confirm the **Language** and **Region** you want to track in. These are pre-filled from auto-detection — adjust if needed and click **Continue**.

## Step 3: Products

On **Start with your products**, you can pick up to five of your products (fewer on smaller plans) to build your tracking around. For each one, Alhena finds the questions shoppers ask AI engines that the product should show up for, and tracks those first. The rest of your prompts are then filled in from your topics.

1. Use **Search products** to find a product, and tick it. The counter shows how many you've picked (for example, **2 of 5 selected**).
2. Click **Continue**.

This step is optional — click **Skip** to go straight to topics. If you're not sure which products to pick, you can add prompts for any product later from its page (see [Suggesting prompts for a product](/docs/features/ai-visibility/content-ai-visibility/product-overview.md#suggesting-prompts-for-a-product)).

Pick the products that matter most to you — best sellers, hero products, or new launches you want AI engines to start recommending. The step is skipped automatically if Alhena hasn't found any product pages on your site yet, or if your plan has no prompts left for it.

## Step 4: Topics

On **Review topics**, Alhena suggests **topics** to track based on your brand. Toggle topics on or off, and add your own with **Add custom topic**. When you're happy, click **Generate prompts** — Alhena generates a set of prompts for each accepted topic (you'll see keywords stream in while it works).

If you picked products in the previous step, each one appears here as its own topic, tagged **Product** with the number of prompts Alhena found for it. Finding these takes a minute or two.

## Step 5: Prompts

On **Review prompts**, review the generated **prompts**, grouped by topic. Edit, remove, or add prompts. The count at the top shows how many prompts you have against your plan's limit.

Your plan sets the total number of prompts you can track — there's no separate limit on topics or on prompts per topic. If Alhena generates more prompts than your plan allows, the lowest-volume extras start out crossed out, so you begin within your limit. You can swap them around: restore a crossed-out prompt after removing another. While you're over the limit, the launch button reads **Remove N prompts to continue**.

When ready, click **Launch tracking**.

## Your first results

After you launch, Alhena runs your prompts against the AI engines for the first time. This takes a little while — you'll see a progress screen, and the full dashboard appears once it's done.
